- How to use it
- How to make a contact
- How to stay professional
As members of CREST, we have a responsibility to promote our image as a contributing member to other REACT teams and the general public.
Please remember, when using GMRS:
- Use plain English [CB & other "TEN" codes are not used on GMRS communications
- Monitor the frequency using "open channel" or always verify no one else is using it. There is nothing more embarrassing [or less professional] than someone who "just starts talking" when a transmission is always in place.
